In 2025 Bradford is the City of Culture, a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the unique mix of cultures that make up this major northern city. The opening ceremony was a mix of international stars, like the magician Dynamo, and local artists and performers keen to celebrate their city. I composed the orchestral score for the event, the music mixes the rhythms of a weaving loom, with English pastoral music and melodic and harmonic material inspired by traditional and contemporary music from the Asian sub-continent.
